Assist in the facilitation of new deal originations and strategic renewals. Includes research, prospecting, deal evaluation, proposal development, client presentations and client meetings.
Own and develop sales and prospect tracking, reporting and analysis. Includes ongoing pipeline management for the Pets Best sales and BD team. Utilize Salesforce to manage the BD team pipeline, prospects, reporting and metrics tracking via dashboards.
Analyzing data, provide strategic direction to sales and BD team on activities that will drive growth
Facilitate Pets Best pipeline meetings.
Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with Pets Best marketing team and other cross-functional teams in support of owning, improving, and maintaining Pets Best pitch template and content. Also includes proposal development.
Identify opportunities to enhance Pets Best’s presence and market visibility within prospecting arenas; includes conferences and events.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
2+ years in an external/client facing role with a proven track record of driving growth and developing strong partner relationships
2+ years’ experience leading projects and assignments including competitive intelligence and industry research, brand research and/or go to market strategies for sales partnerships
2+ years’ experience in delivering formal communications and developing presentations to either senior business leaders or key external business partners.
Some travel required up to 15%
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience using Salesforce.com or another sales management software
Significant experience developing marketing-oriented PowerPoint presentations with a customer-friendly, data backed narrative
Experience in insurance services preferred
Clear thinking mindset and strong attention to detail.
Ability to analyze complex issues, simplify and deploy appropriate action plans that deliver results
Passion for growth and developing market and prospect partners into clients
Strong business/industry acumen
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives and projects
Experience and comfort managing and bringing structure to ambiguous assignments
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 1033(E) Of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act Of 1994

Job Description:
Pets Best is in the process of an acquisition. If you are hired into a Pets Best role with Synchrony, you will become an employee of the new company post close of the acquisition.
Role Summary/Purpose:
This role reports to the Pets Best sales and business development leader and is responsible for supporting the execution of the overall business development and distribution strategy. The incumbent will work closely with the sales and BD team and cross-functionally throughout the entire deal process to meet BD and sales objectives across all distribution channels. They will also be responsible for providing reporting and analytics that is critical to executing the Pets Best sales and distribution strategy.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience in insurance or financial services in addition to the following:

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
