What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Implement security measures to protect AWS workloads and infrastructure
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in AWS environments
- Investigate and remediate security incidents to minimize damage
- Collaborate with teams to develop cloud security standards and best practices
- Monitor cloud environments for security threats and respond accordingly
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security or cybersecurity
- Hands-on experience with AWS security tools
- Knowledge of security tools such as CloudTrail, GuardDuty, or Splunk (SIEM)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Security Specialty)
- Experience with compliance frameworks and network security
