      Main duties of the job

      We are seeking a Rota Co-Ordinator with excellent communication skills to join the Colorectal and General Surgery team, who will manage rotas across the surgical specialties. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 09.00 - 17.00 with weekend working on scheduled rota.

      The postholder will be required to work closely with Consultants and Junior Doctors to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and the services are not adversely impacted

      The applicant should have an impeccable telephone and email manner and confidence in dealing with people at all levels are essential. You should be a team player, meticulous, detail oriented and enthusiastic with the ability to work in a challenging and changing environment.

      The post holder must have interpersonal skills, able to meet deadlines and work in a multi-disciplinary team.
