We are looking for bank staff to cover ad-hoc shifts in a busy 24/7 department which also includes night shifts

About the Department...
We are looking to recruit Bank Health Records Clerks to join our administrative teams. Working within our busy environment you will carry out Health Records duties as part of the Choice & Access team, assisting in the daily provision of a professional health records service ensuring patients, relatives and visitors receive the best possible service.
Main duties of the job
About the Role....
The role will involve the filing, locating, retrieval and preparation of patient casenotes, to ensure that national waiting times are adhered to. Advising patients, staff and relatives by telephone and dealing with their enquires is also a key part of this role.
What we're looking for.....
Applicants must have clerical experience and have worked with the public in a customer care position. Applicants should have at least 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C or above including Maths and English or an NVQ2 in the relevant subjects (or equivalent) e.g. customer care or administration. Knowledge and experience of NHS targets is essential as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work as an individual and as part of a team having the ability to be flexible, being able to prioritise and organise work in order to meet tight deadlines whilst being able to adapt to the changing needs of the service. It is essential to be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, together with accuracy and attention to detail whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times. Good data entry/keyboard skills are desirable together with a basic understanding of medical terminology. ECDL or CLAIT (or equivalent qualification) is also desirable.
