      Job Description:

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Follow all company safety policies and procedures; wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
      • Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and hygiene standards.
      • Prepare ingredients according to batch sheet instructions, ensuring accurate measurements and sequencing.
      • Verify all ingredients prior to batching and confirm lot numbers for traceability.
      • Operate batching equipment, including blenders and PLC-controlled systems, to achieve consistent product blends.
      • Perform batch concentration testing and complete sanitation of batching tanks and associated equipment.
      • Ensure continuous product supply to the filling lines by maintaining efficient and timely batching operations.
      • Collect product samples for quality assurance testing and collaborate with QA to release batches.
      • Complete all required documentation legibly and accurately; submit paperwork at the end of each shift.
      • Maintain cleanliness of work area during downtime; cleaning is mandatory during idle periods.
      • Communicate effectively with Process Operators, Kitter, Utility Operators, Leads, and Supervisors.
      • Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and position them on batching platforms.
      • Remain at the workstation until properly relieved; notify a supervisor or lead if you must leave your area.
      • Support training and development of new personnel within the batching area.
      • Participate in sanitation, basic troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance as needed.
      • Demonstrate a high level of motivation, attention to detail, and teamwork.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Production Lead.

      Qualifications & Skills:

      • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school background preferred.
      • Previous batching experience in a food, beverage, or aseptic manufacturing environment preferred
      • Basic math and mechanical aptitude required
      • Able to read and follow written instructions and batch formulations
      • Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced production environment
      • Forklift certification (or ability to become certified) preferred
      • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

      Range: $24.32-$25.88/hr
