What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct prior authorization reviews for Georgia Fee-For-Service Medicaid members and out-of-state service requests
- Perform assessment and treatment reviews for applicants related to autism services
- Accurately document decisions and maintain organized electronic records for each applicant
- Collaborate with team members as the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Subject Matter Expert across multiple contracts
- Liaise with providers and the Department of Community Health (DCH) to educate them on review processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of intellectual disabilities or related disabilities
- Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in healthcare, government, and/or nonprofit sectors
- Knowledge of Medicaid processes
- Experience in case management
