      Do you want to support the needs of some of our most vulnerable children and families in the North East area of the city? Do you have skills and knowledge of supporting primary aged children experiencing social, emotional and mental health challenges, which may place them at risk of suspension from mainstream education? Do you have a track record of working in strong partnerships for successful inclusion support and change?

      We are seeking to appoint the best candidate with the appropriate experience who can support within the NEPAIP inclusion base at Leopold Street with pupils to help overcome barriers to inclusion.

      You will be joining a team of supportive, positive and dedicated practitioners who have created a secure strong and inclusive locality-based support and provision for children with social, emotional and mental health needs, and the schools that serve them. You will be an integral addition to the team as we continue to develop on our creative approach. You will work with children across the 3 cluster areas of the NEPAIP. These are EPOS, A.R.M (Alwoodly, Roundhay and Moortown) and 2gether clusters, covering an area from Wetherby to Harehills.

      The Behaviour Support Worker will work alongside the team and under the guidance of the senior staff in order to support the pupils in targeted interventions while attending the NEPAIP inclusion base and during reintegration into schools in the partnership in their work to secure effective inclusion for vulnerable children.
