What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze medical benefit plan characteristics for new and renewing clients
- Assess group risk and project future claims using established underwriting criteria
- Price standard and custom benefit plans while negotiating cost-effective solutions
- Prepare renewal plan and cost summary exhibits and review claims reports
- Build and maintain Excel models for forecasting and analytical projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or employee benefits
- Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- NC Life and Health License or willingness to obtain
