What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, and retirement
- Perform system processing tasks including enrollment, event processing, and data audits
- Manage the benefit enrollment process for new hires and qualified life events
- Ensure compliance of benefit programs with Plan documents, policies, and regulations
- Identify and recommend process optimization to enhance efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field; or a high school diploma with an additional four years of benefits administration experience
- 3 - 5 years of comprehensive experience in benefits administration and processing
- Sound knowledge of benefit regulations including ERISA, COBRA, IRS, and ACA
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft software
