      Reporting to the Director of Benefits and Wellness, this position liaises between key data and information stakeholders and the benefits team, ensuring operational effectiveness and benefits administration excellence. Responsibilities include:
      • Benefit plan setup and testing (including open enrollment).
      • Troubleshooting file feeds.
      • Conducting monthly benefits audits.
      • Responding to escalated benefits/payroll issues.
      • Ensures data integrity of the employee benefit elections, eligibility, and contributions within the HRIS system.
      Annual Salary Range: $68,307.00 - $100,755.00
      Qualifications
      Education:
      • HS degree required.
      • Prefers a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (desired), Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
      Experience:
      • Five (5) or more years of employee benefits administration is required.
      • Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of MS Office Suite is required.
      • Five (5) or more years of HRIS experience (preferably ADP and/or Kronos Human Resources/Benefits) is preferred.
      • Five (5) or more years of experience supporting a high-volume customer base within a healthcare setting is preferred.
      • Strong experience working with statutes and policies related to the Arizona State Retirement System is preferred.
      • Strong experience in benefit plan setup and vendor eligibility file experience is preferred.
      • Strong experience with creating benefit-related data analytics reports is preferred.
      • Experience in project management techniques and leading small to medium-project teams is preferred.
      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
      • Requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
      • Ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex issues and use independent judgment effectively.
      • Requires knowledge and understanding of employee benefits principles, practices, procedures, and documentation, preferably related to a public healthcare organization.
      • Must know employee benefits, open enrollment systems, processes, and procedures.
      • Requires the ability to comprehend vendor eligibility file specifications and read and understand eligibility file data.
      • Requires knowledge of benefits billing, invoicing, and collection procedures, including processing ACH payments.
      • Must have demonstrated maturity in dealing with different levels of employees in a fast-paced environment with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
      • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and develop positive working relationships with both internal and external vendors and customers.
      • Requires effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
      • Requires previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
      • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
      • Requires strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
      • Must have the ability to meet deadlines.
      • Must be able to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
