What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer the University’s Health and Welfare, and Retirement benefits under general supervision
- Counsel staff, faculty, retirees, and their families regarding plan enrollments and changes via various communication channels
- Process enrollment and disenrollment of benefits using Workday, ensuring compliance with specific policies
- Serve as the primary resource for interpretation of all benefits and assist with resolution of related issues
- Conduct benefit presentations and assist with additional projects as directed by the Benefits Manager
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Basic knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to employee benefits
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Experience in benefits, human resources, or business-related roles
- Background in health and welfare, medical, and retirement benefits services
- Distinguished presentation and interpersonal skills
