What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements for analytics
- Develop effective and timely analytic solutions in collaboration with key business partners
- Monitor and refine existing reports while identifying best practices for improvement
- Translate data results into visual reports for management and create ad hoc reports as needed
- Mentor team members on analytic best practices and tools such as PowerBI
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS in a quantitative field (statistics, econometrics, mathematics, etc.)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in business analytics
- Demonstrated experience using data to drive business decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills
- Proven leadership in business intelligence and analytic initiatives in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience with Microsoft Big Data Architecture
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques such as the star schema
- Advanced knowledge of analytic development tools like PowerBI, SSMS, and Dax Studio
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
