- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using PowerBI
- Collaborate with the Transformation and Broker Market Support Shared Services Team to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Stay up to date with the latest PowerBI features, best practices, and industry trends and incorporate them into the development and maintenance process.
- Lead design and development of data models, ETL processes, and data visualization components .
- Extract, transform, and load ( ETL ) data from various sources to create data models for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decision-making.
- Work with the Transformation Team to define key performance indicators ( KPIs ) and develop meaningful metrics and visualizations.
- Develop ad-hoc queries and reports to support business users' data analysis needs.
- Establish and enforce data management best practices, including data quality, data integration, and data governance.
- Design and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Transformation and Broker Market Support Shared Services Team to understand BI needs, collect requirements, and design effective solutions
- Deploy solutions using an agile project management methodology
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role, designing and developing business intelligence solutions (3+ years).
- Experience in data management, including data modeling, ETL processes, and database administration (3+years).
- Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- Proficiency in PowerBI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
- Experience working in an agile project management
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Experience with Alteryx a plus
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration principles.
- Experience in leading a team of BI developers or managing projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the transformation team members and other stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
