What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect, review, and verify borrower documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Prepare files for underwriting and assist in obtaining additional information as requested
- Track and follow up on outstanding loan conditions to ensure timely processing and closing
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide clear updates regarding loan status
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and closing staff for a smooth loan process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in loan processing, mortgage lending, escrow, or financial services preferred
- Familiarity with lending guidelines, escrow/title processes, and funding coordination
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in private lending procedures
