      Overview

      Are you a seasoned HVAC professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale service operations? American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking a high-performing HVAC Service Manager to lead one of our busiest and most dynamic service departments.

      Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 annually + Bonus Opportunities

      Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 (Based on experience/interview; relocation assistance available)

      Responsibilities

      What You'll Be Responsible For:

      • Leading all aspects of a large HVAC service department, including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management

      • Overseeing daily service operations with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction

      • Driving departmental profitability through labor management, job costing, equipment/material oversight, and budget adherence

      • Collaborating with dispatch to ensure optimal technician deployment and scheduling efficiency

      • Ensuring code compliance, safety standards, and operational excellence across all jobsites

      • Conducting field inspections and mentoring teams to uphold high standards of workmanship

      • Monitoring KPIs and running weekly team meetings to drive accountability and performance

      • Maintaining fleet, tool inventory, and equipment readiness

      Qualifications

      What You Bring to the Table:

      • Must speak fluent English as well as Spanish interchangeably
      • 5+ years of HVAC service experience, with at least 3 in a management or supervisory role overseeing a large team

      • Strong technical foundation in HVAC systems, gas piping, electrical systems, airflow, and plumbing fundamentals

      • Demonstrated ability to manage operational budgets, streamline workflows, and boost departmental performance

      • Experience working with KPIs, field service management systems, and technician training programs

      • Unrestricted Journeyman license and code knowledge preferred but not required

      • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

      • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
