What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of medical services for unaccompanied children (UAC)
- Ensure medical services are documented accurately and completed within required timeframes
- Provide health education and training for staff and UAC
- Monitor medication administration and maintain accurate medical inventories
- Participate in case staffing meetings and follow up on recommendations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of employment experience in the medical field
- Medical training/education, program certification, or registry required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the child welfare field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Bilingual: Fluent in English/Spanish with regards to reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
- Ability to remain calm and composed in crisis situations
