What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Designing, scheduling, and facilitating age-appropriate activities for residents
- Ensuring educational services are provided in a trauma-informed manner
- Maintaining recreational supplies and equipment inventory
- Coordinating off-campus recreational field trips
- Working with volunteers and community organizations to provide special activities for residents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or related fields OR high school diploma with two years of child welfare field experience
- Minimum one year of experience in child welfare field
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance
- Ability to show proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual: Fluent in English/Spanish
- Strong assessment skills and ability to remain calm in crisis situations
