What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide world-class customer service to clients as a Scheduling Specialist
- Understand admission, billing, payments, and denials processes
- Verify patient insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations
- Utilize medical terminology and CPT codes in daily tasks
- Excel in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and applying critical thinking skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire
- Strong communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with patient access and managed care/insurance
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with multiple computer systems and dual-screen usage
- Ability to articulate clearly and confidently in a professional setting
