What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform outbound calls to obtain eligibility information and document accurately
- Assist customers with pharmacy-related services through inbound call support
- Conduct benefit investigations and verify coverage eligibility with insurance companies
- Provide prior authorization and appeals support as needed
- Assist patients with enrollment in copay assistance programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in medical billing, reimbursement, or insurance verification
- Previous data entry experience (minimum three months) with a typing speed of 30+ wpm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and soft phone systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in Patient Support Services (Hub)
- Customer Service experience in the healthcare field
- Additional bilingual skills
