      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Accurately code medical records for diagnoses, procedures, and evaluation and management services in accordance with national coding guidelines
      - Review physician notes for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary information is obtained
      - Monitor and address coding deficiencies to reduce denials that impact reimbursement
      - Conduct education on documentation practices and coding compliance for clinical staff
      - Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting medical records management

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Proficient in reading and interpreting medical records for accurate coding
      - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
      - Minimum of 2-4 years of physician coding experience, preferably in primary care
      - Coding certification through AHIMA and/or AAPC
      - Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Auditing experience in medical coding
      - Highly effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
      - Experience providing training and feedback to providers
