What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform daily billing and follow-up activities to support the revenue cycle process
- Document claims billed, paid, settled, and follow-up in the appropriate systems
- Communicate with hospital departments to clarify billing discrepancies and obtain necessary information
- Research claim rejections and take corrective actions to ensure timely resolution
- Proactively follow up on delayed payments by contacting patients and third-party payers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma and completion of relevant training program or at least one (1) year of experience in revenue cycle functions
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a complex, multi-site healthcare environment
- Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies
- Familiarity with medical claims processing and financial counseling
