What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform billing data entry and ensure accuracy by comparing data with source documents
- Research and resolve missing or incorrect billing information and verify insurance details
- Complete daily and weekly billing activities in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients and patients via phone to address billing discrepancies
- Meet performance goals in a fast-paced production environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of previous working experience required
- Specific experience in medical billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or Claims/Insurance preferred
- Proficiency in alpha-numeric data entry (10 key skills) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
