      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare and submit billing data to all third-party payers using the employer's billing system
      - Reconcile data and correct errors for batch submission
      - Perform accurate data entry of all client and patient information
      - Manage payment posting from all third-party payers and self-pay clients, and follow up on missed payments
      - Investigate and appeal denied claims, and resolve all billing issues by contacting insurance companies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical biller or in a similar role
      - Solid knowledge of billing concepts, medical terminology, behavioral health billing, and electronic medical records
      - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with insurance verification and eligibility processes
      - Familiarity with EHR/billing system maintenance and updating fee schedules
      - Background in handling balance calls regarding billing inquiries
      - Knowledge of training programs and mentorship initiatives in billing
