What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create accountability for billing and collection efforts and procedures for Billers and Billing Managers
- Provide front-line support to Billers and Billing Managers, addressing day-to-day questions and issues
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of payor contracts and government billing regulations, ensuring compliance
- Monitor aged accounts receivables and related metrics to assist agencies in meeting established targets
- Attend Cluster BAM meetings to identify systemic issues and support standardized best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least three years of experience in healthcare billing and collections management, preferably in home health and/or hospice operations
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills
- Demonstrated capability to accurately manage detailed information
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, service center personnel, referral sources, and payers
- Demonstrates ingenuity, autonomy, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
