What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage third-party billing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate billing of medical and NCPDP claims
- Identify and resolve root causes of billing rejections to maximize reimbursement
- Process home infusion and nursing claims, including rejections and appeals
- Meet quality assurance and productivity levels as defined by management
- Maintain accurate records and identify patient and insurance changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three years of related work experience in a team-oriented environment
- Strong knowledge of medical billing practices, including ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCS
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Collections or medical billing experience with an understanding of Medicare billing requirements
- Knowledge of home infusion and insurance policies
- Familiarity with HCN 360 and/or CPR+ systems
- Strong customer service background and problem-solving skills
