      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Process customer bills and insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
      - Research and establish patient eligibility coverage with insurance providers
      - Maintain and audit patient files to ensure compliance and defend against audits
      - Assist with billing inquiries and resolve patient billing issues via phone or electronic communication
      - Perform prescription claims adjudication and communicate with insurance companies regarding claims

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required
      - Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration per state requirements; National Certification preferred (PTCB)
      - Minimum of 1+ years of related experience
      - Advanced computer skills; pharmacy information system experience preferred
      - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a long-term care pharmacy setting
      - Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurance billing processes
      - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
      - Strong relational skills to build effective relationships with team members and clients
      - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
