- Planning and implementing effective and engaging curriculum, instruction, assessment, and classroom management for assigned classes, while following the state standards and diocesan curriculum.
- Write and revise the course curriculum for those courses on your load.
- Embrace the 1:1/blended learning.
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned.
- Professional conduct and adherence to all school and Diocesan policies and procedures.
- Works cooperatively with colleagues.
- Willing to become an active member in the high school environment.
- Holds a current, valid Indiana Educator License or eligible to obtain a high school license
- Registered active Catholic is preferred but not required.
Full-Time Business/Preparing for College and Career Course Classroom Teacher
A classroom teacher supports student learning, growth, and development through their assigned classes and duties. The teacher supports and strengthens the mission of Bishop Dwenger High School, to develop “Citizens of Two Worlds” who excel in the areas of spirituality, service, academics, and the active life upholding the Catholic Faith.
