  Schedule:	We have a lot of flexibility to offer our Team Members with shifts most weeknights and both day and night shifts available on the weekends. Shift times may vary slightly but typically include: Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM-12:00 PM and 5:00 PM-10:00 PM Saturday-Sunday: 7:00 AM-12:00 PM and 5:00 PM-10:00 PM **Priority shifts Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday**
  Salary/Wage Range:	Hourly $5.00 to $35.00

  Position Summary/Job Duties:	Bistro525 is currently hiring energetic, friendly, and CAREing servers to join our team for the spring semester and into summer. If you answered “yes” then get ready, because we have perfect job for you! Apply today for our open serving positions at Bistro525 located in DoubleTree by Hilton Madison Downtown. Our location on the UW-Madison campus has provided us with years of experience working with students, understanding their schedules, and curating a flexible working environment that allows for studying and activities all while working a few shifts per week. Currently, we have shifts available Sunday through Saturday, both in the morning and evening. Ideal candidates will be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week, including some weekend availability. Applicants who are interested in working through the summer are strongly encouraged to apply. New team members are provided a minimum of 5 paid training shifts each of which include a complimentary shift meal. These meals help our newest server to learn and better understand our menus. Why should you work at Bistro525? Pay starts at $5.00 per hour + tips, with most server’s average $15-$20 an hour with tips. On special event days, servers have the opportunity to make between $25-$35 per hour with tips. All team members receive a pay raise after 60 days of employment and then annually on their anniversary. We provide flexible scheduling- working around classes, outside activities and internships. All part-time team members receive 40 hours of paid vacation time after one year of employment. What is expected of our Bistro525 Servers: Provide genuine and accommodating service to all guests. Gain a strong knowledge of our food menu, alcohol selection, and Starbucks® beverages to be able to suggestively sell to Guests. Offer menu suggestions, answer guest dietary questions, and take food/drink orders. Prepare for and deliver room service orders to guest rooms in a friendly and timely manner. Work as a team with staff and management to ensure guest satisfaction and a harmonious working environment.   Qualifications:	Required Skills & Experience Previous serving experience is great but NOT necessary! If you enjoy working in the lively nature of the service industry while creating exceptional customer experiences, then you have what it takes and we will teach you the rest!
  Physical Demands	Standing/walking restaurant for majority of shift, carrying trays of food and drinks to tables, bussing tables, restocking supplies as needed
