What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate the skills and needs of each client assigned to your team
- Develop and monitor individual treatment and behavior intervention plans
- Provide regular training and supervision to staff, offering feedback for enhancement and client progress
- Facilitate caregiver meetings and training sessions to ensure open communication
- Identify clients and families needing additional support, such as social skills groups and family support groups
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in ABA, Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field
- BCBA Certification with a minimum of two years of experience working with children or young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Experience in management and leadership, with the ability to collaborate with families, staff, clients, and community partners
- Proficiency in developing individual treatment and behavior intervention plans and assessing skills and deficits
- Credentialed as BCBA by the BACB, maintaining appropriate memberships and certifications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in BCBA/BCaBA supervision
- Familiarity with various ABA methodologies and effective communication strategies across settings
- Experience using technology and software for compliance and documentation purposes
