What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Design and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions tailored to each client's unique needs
- Collect and analyze data on behavior and progress to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff, providing training and feedback
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
- Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong language skills to effectively present information and communicate with stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention
- Knowledge of crisis management procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements in behavior analysis
- Engagement with community resources and support networks for client integration
- Continuous education in behaviorally based interventions and techniques
