What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Design and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and emerging needs
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and provide training and feedback
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
- Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to travel as needed
- Strong language and reasoning skills for effective communication and problem-solving
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention
- Knowledge of CPT codes, payor rules, and research-based treatment modalities
- Familiarity with crisis management procedures and techniques
- Background in community engagement and resource utilization for client support
