What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor phone calls and box office email to assist customers with inquiries and ticket purchases
- Maintain knowledge of current events and experiences offered by the organization
- Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and requests in a timely and courteous manner
- Collect accurate data to process payments and reconcile transactions
- Support the setup and management of events within the ticketing system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in computer skills and digital literacy, including MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Ability to work select weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and fiscal responsibility
- Willingness to learn and implement organizational values and policies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of e-commerce, Point of Sale systems, and/or ticketing systems, specifically ACME Ticketing
- Prior experience in a customer service role within a historical or educational setting
