      Title of Position: BP Data Science Analyst

      Position Type: Full-Time. Regular hours include Monday to Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM

      Compensation Range: $65,000/Yr. - $90,000/Yr. *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*

      Location: **Remote Opportunity for candidates who reside in NY, NJ or PA ONLY**

      Responsibilities/Duties:

      • Develop analytics deliverables and reporting solutions by analyzing requirements,
      • assessing feasibility, conducting research, designing solutions, and presenting to clients.
      • Conduct and document dashboard and code reviews, debugging, and testing efforts for
      • project work.
      • Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code using programming languages and SQL.
      • Extract, transform, and load data from various systems and formats.
      • Define requirements and specifications, estimate development efforts, and create
      • implementation plans.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, process analysts, and
      • project managers to deliver projects within estimated timelines.
      • Communicate project progress to all project clientele, sponsors, and assigned staff.
      • Assess assigned work tasks and provide development timelines, delivery estimates, and
      • status updates to direct management.
      • Assist other data analytics team members with peer review, testing, and feedback on
      • solutions to identify issues and recommend improvements.
      • Maintain compliance with SOPs and change management procedures
      • Provide departmental back-up coverage as needed.
      • Respond effectively to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies,
      • and other processes.

      Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of related technical experience.
      • Competence in architecting solutions using a combination of object-oriented programming, statistical modeling tools, SQL, and other analytical technologies.
      • Competence with reporting techniques and business intelligence software.
      • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
      • Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.

      Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

      • Experience using machine learning algorithms.
      • Symitar infrastructure or other financial industry core platform.
