      Responsibilities

      Breaking the mold of a traditional contact centre environment, the Branch Operations Advisor is responsible to primarily support Premium Advisor, inbound Advisor, and clients. A successful advisor will invoke trust and build strong client relationships, determine individual investment needs and provide professional, customized advice to ensure client’s financial goals are met. Advisors will support clients with various requests such as onboarding/KYC discussions, various trade orders, investment strategies, suitability conversations, assist with documentation, etc. Work collaborates with a team of support resources and other advisors to deliver best in class experience remotely!

      Qualifications

      We are seeking candidates who exhibit a strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment and who truly want to make a difference in the lives of our clients. Successful candidates will have:

      • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant professional experience

      • Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC). Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) will be considered as an asset

      • Knowledge of equity, mutual funds, GICs, HISAs, ETFs and bonds.

      • In-depth knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standards

      • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and listening skills.

      • Bilingualism English and French is required

      • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a wide variety of individuals

      • Industry Accreditations or working towards preferred (CIM, CFA, CFP)

      Compensation & Benefits:

      $ 44,000.00 - $ 63,500.00

      The base salary represents BMO Financial Group’s hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.

      Base salary is one component of BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package for employees, which may include performance-based incentives, commissions or discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
