JOB SUMMARY:

The Brewery Emporium Purchasing & Receiving Lead works in our brewery store which serves as a haven for the ultimate craft beer connoisseur who seeks to delve deeper into the world of craft beer. The Brewery Emporium Purchasing & Receiving Lead will be responsible for inventory of both beer and merchandise. They will be ordering, receiving, monthly counts and stocking. They will be responsible for keeping the warehouse organized, and working with internal departments on new, existing, and marked down inventory.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:

• Coordinate with all retail locations for product return.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, including new, existing, and marked down inventory.
• Conduct accurate cycle and security counts as per schedule; compare results to system data.
• Adjust based on established policies and management approval.
• Consult with management on a weekly basis to maintain inventory.
• Place and receive merchandise orders on a bi-weekly basis.
• Assist with maintaining proper levels of inventory on sales floor and backstock.
• Communicate with the retail warehouse on new products and shortages for inventory.
• Coordinate with the merchandise manager for needs of shipment materials.
• Complete end of month merchandise inventory.
• Process paperwork and filing.
• Communicating with internal departments for the changes of inventory, i.e.: new merch and/or beer releases, mark downs, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and prior experience in retail and customer service.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and management.
• Ability to obtain Beer Server Certification.
• Strong sales skills, strong organizational skills, solid decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated, organized and goal oriented.
• Ability to start and finish tasks in a timely manner.

  • Base Salary Range: $17.00-$23.00/hour
