  Brokerage Operations Specialist II

  Locations: Hybrid | Kansas City, MO; Edina, MN

  As a member of Trade Operations, the Brokerage Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate execution of mutual fund transactions. This position will require research, analysis, and response to a variety of situations and making critical decisions in a time constrained environment.

  What You Will Get To Do:

  • Monitor processing of mutual fund trades and mitigate market exposure.
  • Secure price protection from Fund intermediaries through phone, fax, web portal or letter of indemnity.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding trade status or to initiate trade corrections.
  • Build and maintain a high quality and professional working relationship with broker-dealers, mutual fund companies, financial intermediaries, and internal business units.
  • Perform reconciliation of omnibus mutual fund positions and subaccount transactions.
  • Identify and resolve pre-settlement discrepancies resulting from rights of accumulation adjustments.
  • Create and deliver reports on rejected or manually processed trades and corrective actions.

  What You Will Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree required, focus in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Brokerage Platforms (Refinitive, Phase 3, Broadridge) a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel – PivotTables and Formulas required.
