What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Risk Department to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations
- Analyze and review AML system-generated alerts
- Conduct investigations for suspicious activity and generate Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
- Perform OFAC Clearance and Testing, as well as complete reviews on FinCEN 314(a)(b)
- Respond to BSA-related inquiries from internal departments in a timely manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- An undergraduate degree in business (preferred) or at least 3 years of relevant work experience with a commercial bank
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking operations, including DDAs, term deposits, loans, and related regulations
- Familiarity with NACHA rules and regulations; AAP Certification is a plus
- Experience working directly with the Federal Reserve to process wires
- Knowledge of core banking systems and workflow redesign for customer onboarding and banking processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with FIS core banking systems
- Additional certifications or training in compliance or risk management
- Background in process improvement methodologies
- Experience in handling international payments and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
