What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage complex fiscal operations related to the Capital and Asset Management Program (CAMP)
- Develop and implement methods for the allocation of centralized administrative costs
- Create and execute monthly expenditure reports and journal vouchers
- Provide budget reports and monitor financial activities for CAMP projects
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on fiscal processes and software integration
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four (4) years of professional experience in accounting, budget, finance, or public administration
- A bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience
- Six (6) months of professional experience as a Budget Analyst 2 may also be considered
- Technical degree or associate's degree in business, accounting, or budget can replace one (1) year of experience
- Strong communication skills for interaction with various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- A master's degree in business, public administration, accounting, economics, statistics, or a closely allied field
- Experience with CAPS Financial and Novatus software
- Background in fiscal or budget office operations
- Knowledge of budget and business management practices
- Leadership experience in multidisciplinary project teams
