What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer the assigned department's budget and management reporting software, including ongoing maintenance and training
- Collaborate with Information Technology, Accounting, Finance & Reimbursement, and Patient Financial Services to address technical problems
- Assist in coordinating the hospital's annual budget process and facilitate budget-related decision-making
- Provide thorough financial and statistical analysis to produce reports that support organizational decisions
- Maintain and improve technical skills for data manipulation and report writing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or Hospital Administration or related field
- Two (2) years of experience in data analysis, financial statement preparation, financial systems administration, or healthcare planning
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with management, staff, and external customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and personal computers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Two (2) years of professional experience, preferably in healthcare
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under high-stress conditions
- Independent decision-making ability
