- Working with Siemens Insight (BAS) and Apogee Field Panels.
- Professionally responding to service calls and providing support to teammates and building occupants, as needed.
- Continuously monitoring critical equipment and alarms, and identifying and responding to situations that may endanger personnel or cause damage to equipment.
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on control systems and end devices.
- Using maintenance software (CMSS) to document services provided to customers and to receive maintenance assignments.
- Providing support with commissioning of controls systems on renovation work.
- 3+ years of experience operating and servicing BAS controls.
- Completion of recognized apprenticeship program (or equivalent education and/or experience).
- Experience working with and troubleshooting Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and BAS software.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with commercial and industrial building mechanical and electrical systems.
- Customer service and communication skills necessary to interact effectively in writing and verbally with teammates and customers.
- General computer software experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.), and specialty software including Siemens Insight and Maximo preferred.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to work scheduled and emergency overtime.

We are looking for a skilled Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Technician to join our team and support our efforts with operating and maintaining Direct Digital Controls and Building Automation Systems at the NASA Ames Campus. This is a full-time position, with several benefits including job stability, 401(k), Pension, Health, Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term Disability, Paid Holidays, Vacation, and PTO. Salary - $56.59.
