- Collaborate with user departments to assess project feasibility and gather business requirements.
- Document specifications for new projects or system changes, ensuring minimal impact on other modules.
- Train and support internal users on system applications and modifications.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including data mapping and data transfer processes.
- Analyze business operations and recommend system improvements based on technical and operational constraints.
- Create system design plans, project specifications, and resource estimates.
- Participate in design reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.
- Cross-train team members and support knowledge sharing across departments.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Ontario/Finvi FACS in a collections software environment.
- Proficiency in structured application development, system analysis, and project documentation.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and project management methodologies.
- Skilled in MS Office Suite and technical problem-solving.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
- Familiarity with speech analytics tools.
- Background in the medical collections industry.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Business Analyst in collections systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and implementing application and strategy changes within our system of record, Ontario Systems/Finvi FACS. You will collaborate closely with operations staff to build, maintain, and enhance operational strategies through FACS formats, event tactics, dialer campaigns, work queues, and reporting-across both the character and GUI versions of the FACS system.
