What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate service-related issues to identify root causes and oversee vendor reporting
- Act as a liaison between the employer and vendors to resolve operational issues
- Develop forecasting tools using current technology and systems (Access, Excel, Monarch, etc.)
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects, system fixes, and enhancements
- Prepare materials for internal and external audit activities and review audit findings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in an operational or analytical role
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry is required
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Broad understanding of claims strongly preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield products and services
- Working knowledge of division operating plans and operating models
