What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to collect, analyze, and document clear business requirements
- Translate user needs into comprehensive functional specifications, including reports, interfaces, and workflows
- Analyze "as-is" vs. "to-be" processes to identify gaps and recommend industry best practices
- Serve as the primary point of communication between end-users, IT personnel, and external vendors
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure clear acceptance criteria, backlog prioritization, and maximum solution value
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
- 2–4 years of experience in functional or systems analysis
- Understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of Jira Software and Confluence
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting Military Sealift Command or similar maritime/logistics organizations
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
