What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and document business processes related to health data exchange workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as HL7 (v2, FHIR), CCDA, and IHE profiles
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine business requirements for interoperability, patient portals, and secure messaging systems
- Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements for healthcare data integration
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, document discussions, and track action items to ensure smooth project execution
- Support process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies in current workflows and recommending enhancements for better data exchange and interoperability
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on healthcare interoperability and data exchange
- At least 3 years of experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe)
- Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 (v2, FHIR), CCDA, and IHE profiles
- Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 7-9 years of experience in business analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in healthcare IT standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) or business analysis methodologies (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA)
- Hands-on experience with healthcare data exchange processes, including ADT and CCDA workflows
- Familiarity with SQL and database queries for healthcare data analysis
- Exposure to business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Proven ability to collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
