What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and user needs related to ocean/air freight visibility and logistics
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documents, functional specifications, and user journey maps
- Analyze data related to ocean/air freight operations and communicate insights through visualizations and reports
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to evaluate solution approaches and ensure successful delivery of requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of business analyst experience, focusing on B2B SaaS products or logistics technology solutions
- Strong domain knowledge in supply chain and logistics, particularly in ocean/air freight operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Strong data analysis skills, including data collection, data integrity management, and report visualizations
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and methodologies, requirements documentation, and agile frameworks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in ocean/air freight, freight forwarding, or 3PL operations
- Familiarity with logistics technology platforms and transportation management systems
- SQL proficiency and experience with data analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience with API integrations, EDI transactions, or system integration projects
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Agile methodologies (CSPO, CSM)
