What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage end-to-end regulatory reporting obligations and risk assessments
- Monitor industry and regulatory changes, assessing impacts and recommending compliance solutions
- Construct business requirements for regulatory changes and collaborate with Technology teams
- Identify inefficiencies in processes and implement strategic improvements
- Document regulatory gaps and manage business process requirements for compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant business analysis work experience
- Experience in a regulatory/compliance role within Asset Management
- Strong knowledge of financial products, order lifecycle, and broker-dealer operations
- Proven ability to apply risk frameworks and conduct assessments
- Proficient in data analysis and technical documentation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with regulatory reporting and risk control
- Familiarity with SQL and business intelligence tools
- Proven track record of problem-solving using technology and improving business processes
- Strong communication skills to influence and articulate solutions effectively
- Inquisitive mindset with a keen interest in regulatory changes and industry standards
