- New Business Development: Identifying and evaluating specific business opportunities, driving project acquisition and order intake to achieve sales targets.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing BAMs National Business Strategy and Go-To-Market (GTM) plans, aligning with market data analysis to identify new business fields or niches.
- Marketing & Advertising: Identifying optimal marketing and advertising opportunities, driving participation in events and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building and managing long-term relationships with strategic partners, serving as the key contact with RB divisions BCI & ATMO regarding Industry 4.0 strategies.
- CRM Management: Driving CRM processes to ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Presentations: Delivering presentations to customers and industry bodies on RB & BAMs Industry 4.0 strategies.
- Education: Engineering degree highly preferred or a very technical background.
- Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, and marketing within the automation or special-purpose equipment industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel: Willingness to undertake regular regional and interstate travel, with potential international travel as required.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively present strategies and proposals to diverse audiences.
- Team Management: Strong employee and team management skills, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Sound understanding of market dynamics and industry trends in automation and special-purpose equipment.

Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business and Market Development Specialist to join our team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in automation or special-purpose equipment, looking to leverage their expertise in driving business growth and market expansion. This casual role will be based out of our headquarters in Clayton, Victoria. Due to the nature of the position, some local, interstate travel is required while some international travel may be required.
