- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, championing the platform across the organization.
- Lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Translate business processes into functional specifications and work closely with technical developers to bring solutions to life.
- Design and configure core modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, and Manufacturing, aligning with business needs and industry best practices.
- Drive end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Conduct workshops, user training, and ongoing support to promote system adoption and maximize user efficiency.
- Oversee system integrity, ensuring proper data migration, validation, and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation: functional design documents, process flows, test cases, SOPs, and user guides.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and Microsoft partners on system integrations and custom solutions.
- Proactively manage system updates, patches, and regulatory compliance in partnership with IT and security teams.
- Support change management efforts, including go-live planning, risk mitigation, and hyper-care support.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Functional Analyst or Consultant with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, specifically in a Cloud-based environment.
- Deep functional knowledge of BC modules and their interdependencies.
- Strong experience translating business requirements into actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, supply chain, and IT.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- High proficiency in creating functional documentation and process mapping.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative project delivery.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Constantly communicates with employees and leaders, both verbally and in writing.
Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Central (BC) Functional Analyst with a proven track record in implementing, enhancing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a Cloud-first environment. This role plays a critical part in our digital transformation journey-bridging the gap between business operations and technical solutions to ensure our ERP environment evolves in alignment with organizational goals.
You will collaborate across departments to gather business requirements, design efficient solutions, and ensure best practices are followed through all phases of the project lifecycle-from discovery and planning through execution and post-go-live support. Your insights and leadership will be essential in delivering robust, scalable, and value-driven ERP solutions.
