What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop strategic marketing plans considering agency strengths, competitors, and market conditions
- Identify and secure profitable new business opportunities in target markets
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key agencies by providing tailored insurance solutions
- Drive revenue growth by achieving or exceeding sales targets and executing cross-selling strategies
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic business development or marketing
- Strong understanding of agency dynamics, marketing, underwriting, and risk management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Proficiency in interpreting competitive data and industry trends
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Completion of or progress toward certifications such as Associate in Underwriting (AU) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
