      Business Development Manager

      Brighton with other UK locations considered and hybrid working options

      Permanent

      Full Time, 35 Hours per week

      £50,000 - 57,000 per annum dependant on experience + sales incentive plan & fantastic benefits

      Role Overview

      The Business Development Manager position is a key role operating in ROW’s largest commercial regional market; with responsibility for driving considerable new business growth within the SME space amongst top tier brokers.

      The role will require significant face to face business engagement with top producing IPMI brokers facilitating strong and consistent sales growth.

      The selected candidate will be the day-to-day face of Bupa Global to his/her panel of brokers.

      Given the focus this role has upon broker engagement, experience of intermediary distribution in the healthcare space is essential.

      What you’ll do:

      The core deliverables for the Business Development Manager - UK, include but are not limited to;

      • To develop new and stronger business relationships with a defined number of key intermediaries

      • To support the renewal of all existing business held within the applicable broker panel

      • Achieve all sales, revenue and profit targets

      • To report clear & accurate pipeline data and forecasting

      • To build and consistently deliver a strong sales presentation deck

      • To support the Head of UK SME Intermediary Distribution in securing and retaining business – through tender management, presentation, and negotiation

      • To build strong robust broker development plans and identify commercial opportunity for Bupa Global

      • To work extensively with UKI colleagues to leverage One Bupa opportunity

      What you’ll bring:

      • Business Development Management experience is desireable

      • Experience of both intermediary distribution and direct within the healthcare space is essential.

      • IPMI experience would be key, but is not a pre-requisite

      • Experience in consultative selling, as opposed to transactional.

      • They must have sound commercial acumen, be an effective communicator, possess advanced presentation skills, be a credible business enabler

      • Demonstrate a strong track record of auditable business growth in the healthcare market.

      • A dynamic, credible, and articulate presenter

      • An auditable track record of SME and/or corporate new business success over a period of at least 3 years

      • A demonstrable strong interest in international business
